Taalim Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization which allows the Taalim community based in New Jersey and New York City to provide quality performing arts and educational experiences to the local and broader communities around the USA. Formed in 2020 but stifled by the Covid-19 pandemic, the organization has resumed its activities in 2022 with renewed vigor to broaden the scope and accessibility of Indian performing arts.

By creating a unique environment in which music is learned and appreciated in conjunction with the pursuit of philosophy, the Taalim Foundation seeks to cultivate a community that has a better understanding of both music and life itself. While its main methodologies are inspired by ancient Indian traditions, it is a completely secular organization that embraces comparative studies from a wide range of cultures; knowledge-seekers from all walks of life are welcome.

Ultimately, Taalim Foundation creates spaces of empowerment for audience members, students, professionals, and anyone else who crosses its path.
